Why do the police allow the protestors to shut down an interstate? Article says I5 has been shut down for more than two weeks. Is it not their responsibility to clear these protestors from a critical auto artery?

I mean some guy either was driving recklessly or decided to take the law into his own hands and severely injured 2 people. I don’t see what else there is to this.
Just because you don’t agree with their opinions doesn’t make them any less human. Like I said earlier no they shouldn’t be on the interstate and if they were attacking him then all bets are off. Just based off of this video he wasn’t in the right and I agree with v that it’s disgusting people are openly applauding this and just shows how fricked up shite is in this country from all prospectives.
I also realize this isn’t going to change anyone’s mind and I’m pretty much arguing with a brick wall so I’m going to bow out of this thread.

Watch the video again if you think the driver did anything wrong.
Comes around curve at 60+, dodges a car in the roadway by going to the shoulder. Then slams brakes and was turning back toward roadway when he hit the protesters. Looked like a pretty damned good example of defensive driving.

I take my last post back this is my last response.
Then what gives him the right to “play cop” and take them out (if it was intentional)? I agree with your premise. They shouldn’t be allowed to do that. But unfortunately they have been by local law enforcement. If you want to fight it and change it then go about it the right way. Going vigilantly isn’t the right way.

You can't just expect to be in the middle of a major interstate and not have people get hurt. Sorry but that's the risk you are taking.
