Speaking of that, i vividly remember my dad on the putting green before tee time and handing my 8 year self a set of quarters for a pack from the e-cigarette vending machine and then a separate amount for the foam cup crown and coke.

On a recent trip to Mississippi, I stopped at Walmart and even they had a vending machine for scratch offs. Meanwhile in Louisiana you have to go to the Murphy in the front if you want to test your luck.
This weekend, I bought 6 3 dollar tickets and only one a free ticket in Louisiana.
For some reason, I always have better luck on the Mississippi ones.

Maybe you're shopping in too nice an area. They're probably more prevalent in lower income areas since the lottery is essentially a tax on poors and the math challenged.
