This is addressed in the article. The same gene has opposite effects on each gender. In men, it may make them more likely to be gay where as in women, it makes them more likely to have more children at an earlier age. The gay women gene would have a similar effect with the roles reversed.

I'm sorry, but that sound like some convenient horse shite. So, the gene that gets eradicated through lack of reproduction is compensated by hyper-reproduction? Sounds like total bullshite to me, but scientists said it, so it must be true.

1. That's not a fact. Philosophers and neuroscientists debate this, daily.
2. I wasn't talking about actions. Epigenetics can be influenced by environmental factors, among countless other things. Your environment influences your genes to express themselves in different ways.
