It’s shitty for normal people, but it’s a good way to keep the beggars from hanging around. That little mini mart across Florida from Schlitz is a magnet for trash.

Sonic charges $0.35 for a cup of ice. My daughter loves their ice.

BTW, I need one of those Sonic ice machines.

I've been to a place that charged $100 for a bottled bud light. Only the uber rich politicians went there and it kept the unwashed masses away. Worked like a charm

I get what you are saying but every place charges for bottle water.

Others charge for sparkling water.

What’s next? Charging for chips and salsa? Already there.


Liberal policy is not good for business. I think people forget restaurants have bills too.

Schools and gyms turned off water fountains during covid. But you could still use the vending machines.

It's been a couple of years since I've been in there, but back then it had been the same for at least a decade (ie: needs serious renovations).
