Lol if you were a southerner after the war booth fricked you, Lincoln was a moderate in terms of reconstruction, with him dead the radicals took over

I don't mind taking the flag down as its nothing more than manufactured outrage and it's not an american or state flag. It's time to move on and stop giving special snowflakes reasons to get outraged.
But that doesn't change the fact that Lincoln was a tyrannical thug piece of shite that let half a million americans die just to keep a ragtag band of states together, shite all over the constitution, and let Sherman rape, pillage and burn down the south. He had only one good thing cross his mind in his entire life and we all know what it was. Good riddance.
Bush 43 had just four thousand die in Iraq by comparison and he was crucified for it.

The state's surrendered, agrees to the terms of surrender and were readmitted into the Union.
Thus they were once again part of the United States and fly under the flag of te United States, not under the flag of the defeated Confederacy.

Indeed. I'm no presidential historian but wasn't Lincoln one of the foremost leaders in reconciliation instead punishing the South?
Not only did his assassination destroy one of reconciliation's biggest advocates but it allowed others to add just one more notch in their, "See! Look how terrible the South is!" belt.
