This pisses me off when people say “We” when referring to an NFL or college football team. If you went to school there, I’m OK with it. If it’s an NFL team and you never played for them, don’t say “we”!

Damn. I was really interested on your feelings on the matter. It’s kept me awake at night.

Now that I know, I’ll change my vernacular to suit your beta needs.

One of my biggest pet peeves. I don't do it, but I can sort of understand it for a college that you went to. Absolutely drives me crazy for professional teams. I wish it didn't bother me, but it does.

He prefaced it by saying it’s okay if you went to that college, even though he didn’t play college football for north Texas.

Well, it takes "we". Without fan support (money), the whole institution wouldn't exist.

Season tickets don’t constitute being on the team.

neither does being a student or alum

but it does constitute being a part of the organization

It's only annoying when a new bangwagon Bama fan that has never even been to Tuscaloosa talks about the amount of championships "we won".

Am I allowed to use the royal we but in reference to you?

For example: Why don't we go frick ourselves?

I say "we" when referring to LSU sports and IDGAF how it makes you feel. I have pride in my university and "we" means the whole tiger community. Now go find something serious to complain about.
