I don’t get the hate, people want him to fail so bad. The guy is pushing technology forward and an entrepreneurial genius. Does he fail sometimes? Yeah sure. But that’s just part of it. He obviously succeeds too, SpaceX is a world leader in space in the private sector which is great for the US. Tesla is trying new things and pushing the electric car (and battery) industry forward. That’s great.

His Hyperloop idea is complete bullshite and anyone with a basic understanding of physical science knows this. He has done anything revolutionary nor has he pushed the technologies further than other, much more established companies, have already done. He's a good business man, but not deserving of the hype he gets.

So the hyperloop might not work, ok. That’s just one of his ideas he floated. Meanwhile while you’re posting about how dumb he is, Musk is blasting rockets into space carrying supplies to the ISS and military satellites (and then landing those rockets and reusing them).

Throughout history there have been no shortage of people with PhDs that have published work on why some technical problem of that time period would never be solved. There were more than a few that demonstrated why it would be impossible for man to land on the moon.

I’ve been reading that his most impact will be on the power source for homes. He can use a system very similar to what is in his car to power an entire home. Then charge it via solar.
That is game changing and makes some very entrenched people very uncomfortable. I’m convinced that is why he gets so much negative press. It’s more industry than reporters pushing the narrative.

He has media dedicated to hyping his companies and have a proven track record of never publishing a negative article on him. One such source is in the OP. They are hype machines set up to prompte his product disguised as impartial media.
He is a showman, visionary, dreamer, and incredible motivator. He is also self destructive, confrontational, self absorbed, and bad for what TSLA needs now. He is distracting the public from how bad of financial shape TSLA is in. The stock price isn't dropping due to his behavior, it's because the company is collapsing.
SpaceX is private and doesn't have to open the books, so their financial well being is more of a mystery.
