Horrible events unfolding there tonight. It’s a pretty big city. The enormous fire has taken out all electricity to the city as it currently burns thru town uncontrolled. These are good people who live there and the MSM are completely ignoring it. Over 100k people are at risk of losing everything.

One firefighter dead and three more in critical condition

Small video clip of fire

They don't need prayer, they need rain.

Saying “ say a prayer “ is a universal, cross- cultural manner to say “ keep them in your thoughts “ . A basic expression of humanity and the idea that the human experience is shared, and that what effects one of our countrymen is worthy of noting and helping . It’s a phrase that no matter where you are in the world, unifies us and acknowledges our common humanity and expresses compassion. I think everyone is familiar with the need for rain and a cessation of wind . No need to be a dick.

My thoughts and prayers will be with them but especially that firefighter who laid their life down to save others.

It’s sort of like the flood plain philosophy.

If you plan to live in an area that continues to see natural disasters, it’s only a matter of time before one destroys your home.

Prayers for those people. I don’t know how people have the balls to live in wild fire hot spots like that. Massive fires terrify me.

The power company turned off the electricity to one part of the city at the request of firefighters.

Here are some other phrases that also do that

“shite happens”
“That’s the way the cookie crumbles”
“Such is life”
“Life’s a bitch”

The only difference is those phrases may not get you as many likes on social media.

To be fair, the fire exploded over night and threatened Redding. It's not been a threat up to that point.

Also, it's on every major TV and newspaper site.
