Possibly, but most hiking packs, even book bags, have some loops, hoops and outside pockets... That could be the line of thinking.

Wow. The former FBI chick that is frequently on Fox just said something.... If the home has a WiFi modem/router and this person had a cell phone on them, the wifi would log that a cell signal tried to communicate with it. ... That would seem to make it pretty simple.

That is just common sense modem would have logs of cell phone trying connect to it. Plus if he a cell phone did that means most likely that person has been to her house before and had access to login info

That would make this person a complete idiot. A cell phone is basically a tracking device. That’s the last thing I would have on me.
