Imagine the clusterfrick for all the mentally incompetent people in a major US city. Relatives are gonna be coming out of the woodwork to get guardianship of their special needs 7th cousin and pocket as much of the reparations as they can

What did that study conclude?
Median inheritance for blacks and whites is off by as little as $3k to almost a couple hundred thousand depending on source, not millions.
So I have to assume it was a more reasonable amount than $5M as impacts from systematic racism on wealth would certainly be very present in generational wealth metrics.
Hispanics are the lagging demographic.

Any honest “but for” damages analysis would find that the vast majority of slave descendants are better off financially because their ancestors were imported here.

And why when you filed the 2022 Annual Gross Receipts tax return today, you had to report the total compensation of the highest paid managerial employee, including stock options, as a ratio to the average San Fran employee at the company. The ratio was then applied to San Fran revenue, to cover the voted-in "Overpaid Executive Tax". Oh and the "Homelessness Gross Receipts Tax". I can't make this up. San Fran Business Taxes
And on 4/1, L.A. is implementing a "Millionaire's Tax" for certain, high-dollar real estate transactions, a punitive transfer tax.
California people are nuts. But that has been established.
