I did LSD once with some friends, and I find it really hard to believe that it helps people with mental issues. I never wanted to touch psychedelics ever again after that, and I haven’t. I felt like it was going to give me mental problems, if I kept on doing it.

quote:Neither is food, or social media, or porn/sex, or thrill/adrenaline-pumping activities, or on and on... People can get addicted to anything whether there is a chemical substance to get addicted to or not. Our bodies make their own chemicals to get addicted to.
Shrooms are not addictive.

One of the main side effects - Difficulty distinguishing between fantasy and reality. Like I said previously, it is a lazy mans way to escape reality instead of putting in work to change / improve your life to change your reality. What I said is pretty much straight from Demystifying Mushrooms by David Arora, who is considered by most to be the 2-3 leading experts on mushrooms.

I watched a segment on 60 Minutes regarding psilocybin and treatment of anxiety & PTSD. Research in the area had essentially been illegal for years and they're just really starting to study the benefits. The segment was compelling and had examples of profound benefits for individuals.
I couldn't find the entire segment link.

The way tolerance works you would need to have a ton of money in order to be addicted. It’s not like alcohol or weed

You did too much. LCD can have the same positive effects if you microdose or do the right dosage (don’t overdo it)

LSD helped Cary grant with his mental issues.

I don't disagree, but what does this have to do with mushrooms?

It doesn’t make you crazy. It opens doors and windows and cellars and attics in your mind.
You go down paths you never would have. You see things in a completely different light.
Sounds have colors and tastes. You realize how much the world around us is ALIVE.
Think about this. There is a visible spectrum. All we can see is in that spectrum, but there is so much outside of it that we CANT PERCEIVE unless we have the right tools.
Same with the audible spectrum
So why are aspects of our existence outside of our normal perception so hard to understand?

200 UG too much for first time? All my friends enjoyed it and said they couldn’t wait to do it again. It was their first times as well. One guy figured some shite out in his life while he was on it, the others just had a great experience. Not me. I couldn’t wait for it to end.

That’s like saying “I chugged a handle of Old Buncom one night and had a horrible time, I don’t see how anyone would like that.”
#1 you might not even have had good clean pure LSD. And if you did you might have taken way more than you were ready for.
One bad time does not make it bad.

Not everybody has the same tolerance levels. Also, maybe you weren’t ready for it.
It’s also possible you took more than you think and it wasn’t evenly distributed on the blotter.
If you ever try it again, take half a tab or even a quarter.

That is beside the point, though. I'll say again that people can get addicted to literally anything. But IMO that is no reason to ban or regulate substances. Quite the opposite, I think this is a reason to not ban anything.

Because for most people it is not even close to realistic to get addicted to shrooms. Even if they were readily available. After a week you would need 64 grams to get the same high that 1 gram gave you when you first started.
Maybe you can get addicted to anything including food or water but that doesn’t mean heroin, meth, etc is not far more addictive than most drugs.
Alcohol is another drug that is highly addictive and even weed. Shrooms are less addictive by far than any of these chemicals. They are also less lethal for your body than weed, which is usually touted as the safest drug.

So where in Louisiana can you get shrooms to try?
Any nearby cow pasture between 4:00 and 6:00 AM. Be sure to wash them well before ingesting. Also be careful not to get popped for trespassing.

They have plenty of growth medium in the streets, should be great.

Last time I did shrooms I just had a really good body high and lights were more vivid. I also made fun of fat people more. High lasted like 18 hours though. I'm OK with this ruling.
