He wasn’t kidding. I was stationed across the bay over at Alameda in the late 80’s. In the middle of the day I had to get a jacket when on deck. Even in July.

couple years ago we went to three nights of concerts at oracle field in mid July…it was in the 40’s after dark. And windy as shite

I love SF but that’s a little uncomfortable

While they are in a cool spell right now, nothing says fun like 103 degrees as you pass the Harris Ranch feedlot off I-5.

Many tourists have wound up buying sweatshirts at Fisherman’s Wharf due to the unexpected chilly weather during the summer.

But we're in the high 80s most of this week. I can't remember it being like this during July.
We slept with the windows open last night and I wasn't kicking any covers. Never been this mild in July, I will take it. Had to wear a pullover this morning playing golf.

You misspelled HITNER.

Put some respect on that man’s name.

We didn’t have our windows open last night but I opened them early this morning. It was just beautiful today. This is more like early May weather.

Was there a few days ago, truly surprised at how cool the weather was. In the 60’s in July, shocking for a Louisiana boy.

I wish we topped at 103. The crazy thing about the area you’re talking about is the super high wind gusts that can kick up. I was at Harris Ranch for produce inspecting and I stupidly parked with the wind and when I opened the door the wind took it right out of my hand and broke the door to the point where we couldn’t close it entirely. I had to drive home with a door mostly tied shut. Someone else had parked under some stacked plastic bins and one of them toppled over onto that guy’s hood. That was a fun one to explain to the boss.

In the Valley the sun has an intensity that just beats you down and burns you. You want to be back inside by 10am. During a heatwave we’ll hit 113 - 115. With that being said, the few times I’ve been in humidity in the Northeast and South were just beyond ridiculous to me. I don’t know how or why you guys deal with it.

Same here.

Cool and cloudy. Summer finally showed up this week

Hottest few days we've had this year. It's almost like it's not usually a global phenomenon. We're supposed to have a 115 heat index tomorrow.

Nope. I live 40 miles north of SF, and we are usually in th high 80's this time of year. Have broken the mid-60's only 5 times this summer. We really haven't a summer yet.

It’s always cold and misty there. I remember having to wear a light jacket in August. You cross the bridge and go to wine country and it’s 85 degrees
