He’s talking about the cop who was inside of the apartment when she was in the bedroom

Guess she thought she’d take a stab at getting a police brutality suit but that thinking lead to her demise

Beanbags? Dude that was lead. She dead. Did you read the article?

It is in the video. They fired beanbags at her when she was still in the doorway of the bedroom.

those cops were pretty dumb for crowding the doorway like that. she attacked and the one officer had nowhere to go and tripped over the dog and all the other officers shite.

then they were lucky they didn’t hit each other in the crossfire in the hallway

Everybody was kung fu fighting.....until they were shot. Btw, never bring a knife to a gun fight.

a shite ton of mace and a few billy clubs is a better course of action

Ok you first. Especially when you’re confronting someone who may be high on meth or just completely bat shite crazy or both. See how quickly she closed the distance between her and the officers? And she was taking non lethal fire too.

You shoot them with bullets cause you don’t need to be so close. No one wants to try and mace
Or bludgeon a knife wielding crazy mazy and run the risk of
Getting cut.

But by all means, give it a try and report back.

Clearly a disturbed person and the shooting was valid because she went at the deputies but I wonder.....after he served her with process....what was the point of going back to the apartment?

I literally said that I was not questioning the cops course of action in this particular situation.

I am also not saying they should never shoot a suspect. I am lamenting the fact that some bureaucratic oversight committee at some point removed a damn effective tool from a patrol cops ability to control a suspect.

Why didn’t they just shoot the knife out of her hand ? They could have shot her in the shoulder being that close.

If she were black, I'd call this racist and uncalled for. But since she's Asian, we'll just call her crazy.

If she would have simply complied, they wouldn't have had to have shot her at all. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

There is a video on YouTube that demonstrates how quickly someone can close in and stab you from 25 feet. It happens quickly.

Well that’s kind of the problem isn’t it? The cops never know what tools to use till it’s too late. That’s why you need cops who are well trained and disciplined enough to equip with lethal force and have confidence they won’t use it inappropriately.
But I’d never ask anyone to handle that situation with a baton and a can of mace. That’s just silly.

But in point of fact, that’s not how your post read at all. And why you’d post that in the context with that video is odd.
Pick a video where the suspect isn’t slashing at everyone and acting like Michael Meyers then maybe your point will be more clear.

Why would any reasonable person want to be a cop?

If it happens so quickly, how do they just shoot the knife out of her hand?
