Same actors in multiple commercials for different corporations

Has anyone else wondered why with all of the striving actors/actresses out there today, do they cast the same ones in multiple commercials? I mean, these roles aren't hard and the acting in a commercial can't be hard to do or take up much time to make. For example, you'd think gargantuan companies like AT&T and Toyota would both want independent faces that aren't tied with any other companies advertising to represent them so people could identify that character to their brand, right? Instead, you have an ugly arse guy like this representing both in separate commercials when this guy's role probably could've been filled by the worst starving actor in Hollywood.
You also have this same other guy representing both Twizzlers and Eggo. I saw both commercials in the same commercial break. Anyone know the reasoning or if commercial acting is like a thing of its own where you specialize in that versus shows and movies?

Lol
The actor in the “ok is not ok” has been in movies.
You clearly have no idea of the business.
And you don’t understand the difference between being in a commercial vs being the face of a campaign.

No you aren’t.
If you were asking a question you wouldn’t have multiple paragraphs.

As long as there is a wise black female judge and an evil white male/demon then everything is okay

It must really suck to have to try to read race and/or politics into every single thing that happens in your life on a daily basis. Thank God I don't suffer like you.

Listen dude, I know the difference between some actor in one commercial versus someone like the Dr Pepper football ref who was the face of a campaign which is why I said they these specific actors represented the corporations in the commercial. Nobody said anything about these actors being the face of a campaign. You're not some genius pointing that out to me... just a smug bastard with reading comprehension issues.
Also, the multiple paragraphs were included in an attempt for anyone in the know to better understand my question. I bet you felt good typing up your little smart arse response thinking you were making some unique, intuitive point that anyone with a brain already knows too. Move along.

it must really suck not to notice the blatant political correctness shoved down our throats every chance a commercial maker gets these days. You would think blacks compose 80% of the population the way they are over represented by the PC/SJW mind control police.

douchebags like him need to do this - it gives them a purpose in their otherwise miserable, pointless lives

Guess what the solution is? Stop watching commercials.
Also one of the main reasons I love IPTV. I watch everything on UK streams and there are no commercial breaks. It's heaven.

No, I have not ever wondered. Not one bit. You know why? Because they are ACTORS. Their my get hired to act.

I was in a Morris Bart commercial because he got me 53k for my wreck with a garbage truck
Must suck to be a working stiff LOL

I try to minimize the number of commercials I watch and I have to say that no, it really doesn't suck at all.

If they're the pitchman, sure, but generic worker/family member/teacher/etc. being reused is irrelevant.

Not trying to derail this thread, but I really hope this is just part of your internet persona to rile people up. If you really are this much of a condescending arse in real life, I feel bad for people that have to be around you.

The actual answer is that the commercial actor is no different than the actor who has supporting roles in multiple TV shows. It often depends on the availability of the actor, the casting director casting the commercial, the relationship(s) with the agent/agency and the dollar amount being offered.
The actors don't actually represent the corporation, they only perform in the commercial.

Far less annoying than the same spots running on all of the networks.
