In fairness, the Governors powerpoint today said something like "track shifted more to the left" instead of west.

They'll probably do a half measure move. Put it like BSL and clipping LA Coast but east of NOLA/Slidell. Mention they are west of consensus and may shift more to the east if the next set of models continue the trend. Intensity may go up to 95 mph.
That's about what I'm expecting.

Do y'all have a discord where y'all discuss strategy on how to explain weather shite to the TD posters?
rds never responds to me in these threads. Duke will respond to everyone when he's available. I tend to stick with pictures and evacuation strategies. I also unintentionally say something incredibly dumb every so often, and I'm prone to arguing for a few pages about the most trivial of things.

The interesting thing is that if the 10 PM track shifts to around Bay St. Louis, it will be almost exactly where it was 24 hours ago.

We're forgetting The Boat who's both a shitposting specialist and very knowledgeable.

Look, rds gives more technical info, while Duke gives more of the layman info, and slackster gives info for seven year olds.
Should be the top reply for any hurricane thread.
Full disclosure, mine too sometimes.

One thing is certain, I'll go to bed after the 10 pm advisory thinking one thing and wake up to something completely different after the 4

Don’t get why you choose to belittle people when asking a question and you are one of the ones to be knowledgeable of the subject matter. People are asking questions for things to be dumbed down and you choose to belittle them. Bruh, we are all looking for answers.

I rely solely on tBoat to inform my meteorologically-driven decision making.

I asked you 2 questions and you didn’t answer either one of them.
It would have taken you about two clicks of the usernames involved to see it was based on a poster saying he would ban himself from weather threads for a year if it hit NOLA.
Duke joked that now he's debating whether or not he wants it to impact NOLA (to trigger the ban). I jokingly agreed.
No one actually wants it to hit New Orleans, except maybe that DiamondDog guy from Lake Charles.

that puts it right over my place on Ft Macomb Rd...
guess we'll see how it turns out...

If the 10 PM track shifts to BSL y’all gotta teach me how to set up a security camera to live stream for y’all in Gulfport.
Then promise to come get me/drop off steaks and propane if I need help.

It's not belittling of anyone. rds doesn't typically have the time or desire to post for a six year old to understand. You've been around in these threads before, so you know that.
If you have a specific question about a comment, ask it, and someone will answer it.

Yeah. If my smartphone alarm tone goes off again tomorrrow with the NHC 4 AM update and wakes me up, I will know that there was a shift back westward and the SHTF again.

Margaret Orr says Northshore getting from 3 inches to 16 inches. Little bit of a difference

I'd say so. Northshore won't even feel 3 inches but won't be able to walk for days after 16 inches.
