Circulations...
I explained it to the gf like this...
Get a funnel.. put it on a table standing straight up... The narrow end of the funnel is the Low Level Circulation...the center of the storm.
All the circulations are stacked vertically... This allows for intensification.
Tilt the funnel... This represents shear pushing on the storm... Storm strengthening is limited (not necessarily completely stopped) depending on the strength of the shear.
The LLC and MLC work together to create the storm.

he says we need to move west to red stick area but I told him that no worries here in Nola and that we should stay. idk if other ppl are in this dilemma and what catalyst pushes ppl to evacuate or stay.
