Beau Chene and CCC Hurricane Task Force will still be patrolling the streets over the next 48 hours looking for underage teens driving golf carts under the influence.

Spread the word.

Might use an empty Kentwood 5 gallon jug uncapped for my deep freezer.

Don't think you will have enough time for that to freeze up.

You’re gonna freeze a kentwood jug and use it as an ice block?
Yeah. I get about 6 a month and currently have three empties. Two can be filled for regular water use and the last i'll fill 90% and make room in my deep freeze for it. I don't have a huge deep freeze.

Have to wait for the new VDM but it looks like not much change since the last pass.

Expecting an active duty call up from BCHTF. Got the cart loaded down with life preservers, dip net (in case the crappie get out da lake) and a gallon of Bloody Mary mix ready for patrol.

It shifted slightly west which unfortunately is a big deal for NO. It has trended that way and was well within the cone.

I gotta be honest Baws. I’m gunshy as shite right now after spending last weekend working on family’s houses in moss bluff. Just seeing that shite has me nervous as hell right now.

Rds, it looks like the strong winds are very far from the center. Will that help to slow the rate of strengthening - at least for now?

To be clear, I’m not on the extreme southern end. I’m In BC but I really don’t like this type of shite

Not really worried about rain or flooding, but the wind and the possibility of eating a tornado is what gets me
