After going through Laura and seeing how little anybody in this state besides SWLA even cares, I hope it punches the rest of LA right in the mouth.

Get y’all some.

ETA: I am sorry.

Get out of here with this. There have been a ton of SELA people over here volunteering time and handing out free food and doing whatever they can. I have been very grateful for how our brothers and sisters to the east have been trying to support us.

Just because this isn’t national news doesn’t mean you have to wish this shite on other people.

Checking in from Grand Isle. Wind and rain. Heard cashier at Joe Bobs this morning say they were evacuating the island tomorrow.

Don’t own one down here yet. Have several friends with camp that we use, this weekend we had too many people so I rented one for me and my family and my daughter brought 6 friends. It’s all good. I don’t mind sitting around cooking drinking and watching football.

I guess we’ll be rolling outta here first thing tomorrow morning

It's going to intensity. I think upper Cat 2 is the ceiling at this point. Late track shear and needing to spend some time on organization put a lid on high end potential.

Damn Duke you think this could really be a possibility?

It's hard to ignore the hurricane models showing it with as well as they've handled intensity. Shear is light for most of the run through the gulf and it's September so the water is warm.

100+ is on the high end here but best to be prepared for the possibility.

No. They are saying a Tuesday landfall... not enough time to intensify. It may reach hurricane strength, but will not get to a cat 2. Even though the weather channel is hoping it will.....
