You millennials make me sick. Give me a chai tea latte. Give me a handheld with frites. Now it’s give me a two bedroom home in a safe area? Makes me goddamn sick. When I was your age, I was buying a $250k 4br/ba home in Sugarland at a 4% rate.

Moving the goal post now

Someone said they did not exist, obviously they do. Next be more precise.

For most of us, they won’t exist. There is 3M people and 200 homes (assuming they aren’t tear downs which means there’s even less)

I don't see the problem.

This affects mostly people who voted for the current administration. So..... enjoy.

They really have no idea of suffering and struggling. All they know is over-priced smart phones and subscription everything

You truly think it’s one administrations fault? What about the other 50 years of debt and inflation?

I don’t know the Dallas market and I am not the one trying to prove a point. But everything on your map is probably a shite hole.

No one is denying the fact that homes under $300k literally just exist and are for sale, you dolt.

There’s only ONE that is not in a scary part. The others I saw were North if I-12 and by Gardere.

Probably is, but that is why we invented commuting. You can work in the North Dallas/Collin County area and live in Anna

Baton Rouge is actually a very affordable city. If City government worked, it really could be a jewel.

It explains why millenial home ownership is so low...they don't know how to save money.

Would agree that cost of living (including student loans) play a significant role in them not being able to save money?

And let's not forget how much less was needed to be saved (even after adjusting for inflation) when you were their age.

The downpayment you saved up for is now less than a third of what would be needed for the same house today.

70817 is Baton Rouge. There’s only a couple areas I would live in BR and that’s Highland Rd area, Bocage, Garden District/LSU Lakes, U Club area and Hoo Shoo Too.
