how much is your supposed combined income again? isn’t it $300k+? no kids? what are you crying about?

I don't understand the responses that are in this thread. I've never seen so many people knee-jerk excuses so quickly. And I'm on the secrant almost daily.

Millennials were also told that if they didn't start saving for retirement as soon as they made their first dollar then they were ruining their lives.

Not that many did or were able to, but it's funny how everyone seems to have all the answers to the ills of the awful generation and it's all over the place depending on the specific topic at the moment.

The irony is that you can use your 401k without penalty for a down-payment on a home.
It is even easier that route.
