Why wouldn't they be able to keep it? They own the property.

If it was a bunch of cash/valuables put there by Escobar, it would be seized by the DEA/Fed Gov.

Al Capone's vault. In the 80's he made a big TV special centered around opening a "vault" they found in Chicago on live tv. Was empty, many laughs were had around the country.

The people are smart obviously. Only an idiot would announce this to the world. I wouldn't even let anyone else be part of tearing it down.

Would be cool if, instead of cash, blow, etc., they found documents listed different government agencies that helped him throughout the years. Make for a cool story.

Ah I see what you mean.

Crazy that Escobar bought the house in his own name.

They should auction it off. Then it would get interesting.

Found an underground tunnel that was sealed. Thought it contained Al Capone's hidden treasure.

He had a big TV event of them breaking down the wall to reveal the huge treasure. It was talked about all over the world with anticipation.

It was empty and he looked like a jackass holding his dick. Almost ruined his career.

Oh damn that would be awesome TV.

Live auction of unopened Pablo Escobar safe and then the winner opens it live on TV.

I can't even imagine the amount of prime pooty walking around that pool when Escobar would stay there.

whats if it is bought as "SOLD AS IS" sale, obviously looking on the inside, they knew they were getting a dump when they bought it, so it seems like it would have been a sale that was finalized as soon as transaction was done.
