Time will eventually pass and it will ease things up. If he's a junior or senior though getting that first job could be tough without connections, especially if it's in OKC where everything OU is big news.

You wipe away all the shite from Obama and Sharpton and Mike Brown and Trayvon, and we're still far less than a century removed from black people being treated like animals in this country.
While that does not account for the utter destruction of the black community (largely of its own making), I'm not going to pretend that a couple of generations of kids growing up knowing that their parents and grandparents were systematically degraded by the majority and the government isn't still part of our collective consciousness.
If I'm a black guy today and I know that 50 years ago people were repulsed at the thought of me swimming in the same pool as them, I'm going to think about things like the n word in a different way than you think about things like "cracker," and rightly so.

Sure, it might affect him in the future job marketplace, but to say there is a 0% change he can get hired somewhere is just asinine.

Any respectable company can find out, esp if he has a fb or linkedIN which is very common for people to have while looking for employment. Not paving roads or some job that doesn't take any real skills like you do.
