Actually, white people are the only race actively trying to improve the conditions of the peoples they historically subjugated.
Do you think China, Iran (Persia), Turkey, and other colonial empires give two shits about these moral dilemmas with those they conquered in the past?
Wypipo are the true villains of the earth though, historical facts be damned.

I don’t know how the thought “only white people historically were brutal” ever got started Every culture, race, and creed were brutal throughout history. Whites, blacks, Asians, native Americans, you name it. They all murdered and enslaved others to gain power
My comment was not limited to enslavement or physical violence though. From just the broad perspective in this country I was talking about actual laws and practices that historically had a negative impact on minorities and where there is still fallout from said laws and practices.

Perhaps you could cite where a white professor made similar comments regarding another race, and remained employed and undisciplined.

Leftists hate people that are successful.

That professor has a solid grip on our language. I'm not surprised to see she is teaching in college.

Black folks are smarter than that. They live in a country that is 70% WHITE. Who in their right mind would start a race war outnumbered 7 to 1? They are pretty lucky to live in a country where the white man has some compassion.

Seriously spleen please engage

Hell I will take it a step further, if an LSU professor came out and said “I think white people are great and make great leaders” and said nothing else, they would be on the chopping block

I wouldn’t have a problem with giving credit to abolitionists, the white people who were the Freedom Riders in the Civil Rights movement, and white politicians today who advocate for Civil Rights.

quote:This is complete bullshite.
Whenever the black community as whole starts to gain some footing, there's a backlash against them.
First off, name one thing the black community has improved upon that received backlash against them. Name one.
Secondly, why the frick would the white community not want the black community to improve and succeed? You think we want the black community to lead the nation in violent crime, crime in general, unwed pregnancies, poverty rates, and be the least educated? Why the frick would we want that? It’s a fricking huge drain on society. A functional, less violent, less criminal and better educated black community would improve the lives of everyone in the US, whites included. The “white man wants to keep us down” is bullshite. (Well, not really. It’s basically a platform of the Democratic Party.)
You know, the “rising tide lifts all boats” aphorism.

My post you quoted didn't say anything about a professor, or a professor making similar comments. My post had to do with fringe viewpoints in general, and how there are people on the right that espouse fringe beliefs to fan the flames of the culture war. Please try reading comprehension.

Cool, now do EEO laws and today's preferential hiring and promotional practices that discriminate against white people and enable halfwit 'professors' like this wildebeast.

The fringe left is mainstream and gainfully employed as this woman proves

Well, my post didn't say anything about the black community improving anything. My post said that when the black community as a whole starts to gain some footing in society, there's a backlash against them. If you want an example of that, I'll cite Jim Crow laws. Those came about after slaves were freed and starting being afforded some benefits of polite society, but they really didn't ramp up until blacks started gaining some political power.

I never said they didn't.
Some of you really struggle with reading comprehension and following along in a conversation.

Have you been asleep the past 5 years? Qanon is a pretty popular right-wing movement that is largely pretty fringe, though many elements of it have become mainstream in conservative politics.

When Black people became politicians and experienced some economic prosperity during Reconstruction, it began to get negated as a result of the Great Compromise of 1877 where federal troops were removed from Southern states as part of the deal to have Rutherford B Hayes president when he lost the election. The Jim Crow era began to take shape as a result.
