Very odd. No video of helicopter actually getting shot down. Just a video of a helicopter on the ground being blown up. Not sure if this is just something set up to appear as a rescue helicopter shot down or what.

Fair enough.
Also, it's seems that reports are mixed on whether or not the two fighter pilots are dead or not. One minute, SkyNews just reported that they were both dead. Now they are saying that they are both alive.

Well, the news no longer checks a story for credibility...they run with whatever they get and issue a correction at a later time if their first story was inaccurate.
Everything is moving so fast...who knows what the real story is.

I doubt it was as TOW they used to bring it down. I say that because if they'd have used a TOW, the chopper more than likely would have never been able to make any sort of "forced landing". A TOW would have probably blown the thing to pieces.
Here's what a TOW can do to a T-72 tank to give you some perspective.

Which in the video released by rebels shows the Helicopter intact. I'm assuming that small arms fire caused one of the two choppers to land.

That or the TOW wasn't a direct hit, just enough to damage it. A sabot round doesn't explode, it would just punch right through an unsealed helo. Not that it really matters, the helo went down, then got destroyed. Who knows what happened to the crew
