Just curious. Since the Russian Currency (dollar) is less than a US Penny. Could you exchange a US dollar for Russian cash and hold out for awhile until the Ruble builds up then exchange it back for more? Is it even possible?

It would probably be more profitable for you start collecting 1980s/90s baseball cards.

Just like the futures market if you have to ask if such a thing exists then in all likelihood you should avoid it.

My buddy and I wanted to buy Crystal Oil Company at 0.17 in bankruptcy but we were broke college students. A few years later it was out of bankruptcy and trading at 32

I don't believe it is possible, currently. Perhaps it would be via an intermediary.

The best I have ever done in the market was senior year in high school with two grand of fake money and an account on one of those simulated stock markets that mirrored the real market. I cleaned up and won the contest in our economics class by a landslide. All I got was a pair of free movie tickets.

I have yet to be able to reproduce that run.

I'll tell you what I'd do. I would gather all the pennies I could and go to Russia. I could sell them on the street for 200 rubles. Easier to carry in a sock.

So I look into this crystal ball and I see your aura and tell you to beware the dwarf, or something like that.
