Show me the last time we fought a 1st world power? Two first world powers? We completely shite the bed in Iraq and Afghanistan for 20 years. Americans do not have the stomach to do what’s necessary to win in wartime.
US military in decline, threats from China ‘formidable,’ report says
I’ve seen the reports, I’ve visited with military leadership, I’ve been in the briefings. You can think what you want, this isn’t call of duty

Russia did great in Afghanistan didn't they?

If things fall apart, and all military decisions are sound on all sides, and the life of our families are on the line over who we think wins, I'll take the country with 3x the military of our next 3 competitors. You do you.

We shouldn’t want any part of China. Any kind of prolonged conflict would be bloody as hell

Our technology advantage would melt away pretty quickly as weapons are used and we can’t replace fast enough. Chinese can replace their equipment much faster than us as their industrial capabilities dwarf the US in 2023.

Also, we can’t get males in their 20’s to keep a job for more than six months. How in the hell would we think their entitled asses would actually fight in a bloody conflict. They wouldn’t.

Compared to a fricking legislative lackey? yes.

And I'm going to let you in on a secret since this went right over your head. Civilians (legislators) get the "poor me" briefings. We're broke, we dont have anything. Not that we need to do that no elected official is ever going to go on record to lower defense spending.

Carriers that have other things on it like helicarriers.

That’s what I figured, but helicopters are aircraft.

If we are talking about amphibious assault ships as someone else said, that makes sense in context I suppose.

Stalin killed 20 million
They lost around 30 million in WW2

That’s going to have some trickle down effects.

Large portions of the country are frozen wastelands that aren’t able to support large population centers.

They don’t have people in cities multiplying like roaches because they don’t make being a baby momma profitable.

I provided objective information, and instead of countering that info he reverted to personal attacks. He’s not military
