There not that smart. They stole the atomic bomb from us. They also stole our space shuttle technology. They are smart at stealing. Can’t name one thing they invented that the whole world uses

Besides the PC, semiconductor, and laser, me either.

Russia has never challenged a United Europe, the US, or NATO.
They take on smaller nations not in NATO. Nations who are vulnerable. This goes back to post WW I.

Not a troll, just really curious. With what seems to be millions of males in the country to "draft", why is their army forced to negotiate contracts to get men in the army, hardened convicts as well? And those in the service seem to be incredibly untrained, just going by media reports of untrained recruits being rushed to the front & becoming cannon fodder?

It is somewhat of a joke that Russians claim to have invented everything (many jokes to that effect on the original Star Trek series through Chekov). However, a Russian inventor came up with a petrol cracking process "Shukhov process" that is still used today for diesel. Also, the modern electrical transformer can trace back to a Russian inventor (Yablochkov).
(ETA: And Sikorsky, of course, but he did most of his best work after coming to America.)

When is the last time Russia won an offensive war? I've been posting that since before the Ukraine excursion

The guy who invented the Transformer was Austrian- Hungarian not Russian. His name was
Károly Zipernowsky.
Károly Zipernowsky.

Russia is a dying country. It’s a shithole. They either have to try and expand or they will collapse.

Being able to at least write in your native tongue would probably lend more of an argument to your point even if the rest is questionable or inaccurate too.

At least IMO.

AK is the literal antithesis of a Corvette

It wasn't meant as a direct comparison. I just picked a car model at random, feel free to substitute any one you like.

Conscripts by law cannot be deployed outside the borders of Russia. That's one reason Russia annexed the occupied Ukrainian territories, although they've chosen not to deploy conscripts there yet AFAIK. Doing so would be a very big deal. Putin could change the law by getting the Duma to rubberstanp a bill for him to sign, but that would be an even bigger deal. Putin is a dictator, but he's no Stalin or even Brezhnev. He still needs the public's approval, or at least its apathy. In the Russian mind, a contract soldier getting killed is his own fault for doing something stupid like signing up. If a bunch of teenage conscripts start getting killed, that's another thing altogether. The mobilized men are a kind of gray area and the Russian masses haven't quite figured out whether they deserve sympathy for being in harm's way or derision for not figuring out how to evade being called up.

Comparing the US military to any other military in the world is just folly. There isn't a single military in the world that can come close to the US military's capabilities. It would take basically a coalition of the rest of the world to meet it head to head on the battlefield and walk away with a W.
