Eventually they will stop harboring and supporting these clowns if they start taking the bullets and bombs as well. Also the terrorists hide among the civilians, really the only way to get them.

Don't you realize that these actions simply create more terrorists? Sounds like something that would make anyone seek violent retribution.

But it has in Afghanistan (Russian invasion especially).
I'm glad we're not in this mess. We have no partner there worth working with. I feel badly for the civilians but us getting Americans in between two bad groups makes no sense for us. Bombing the shite out of them is good PR for Putin because it distracts his population from what a clusterfrick their economy is - but it won't affect anything with respect to the regional outcome. As far as I'm concerned Iran is welcome to continue to spend gold and blood there at the same time. They won't win either - just kill more civilians.

That, and we had spent enormous effort crushing their forces off the island of Japan AND perhaps most importantly their emperor (who was considered a virtual god) surrendered. The president of Syria is not surrendering. He dies if he goes out of power. The jihadists are not surrendering. They believe dying there gets them into paradise. The major parties funding the fighting outside of the area are even reluctant to stop funding the fighting - and it is getting expensive

Nah, he won't have respect for humanity.. He was born in the greatest country on earth and would want to drop nukes if someone come into his hometown and destroyed it. Those civilians that are dying are people just like we are and I understand in war there will be civilian casualties, but to just go in and say frick it, we are killing everybody is against everything we stand for.
