I would rather send my son/daughter to a catholic school than most of the other public garbage establishments in LA.
I went to one of the worst public schools in the state and graduated from LSU no problem.
You better be hoping your kid goes into engineering or something profitable for that money to be worth it.

You're right. Rummel provides the best education among its peers.

Jefferson Parish Public schools have not gotten any better?
No. They continue to fall sharply.

Private schools have just as many dumbass kids as public schools. Don't be naive

The new Holy Cross annihilated that school
Posted on 2/24/15 at 1:24 pm to LNCHBOX
So it still is more expensive. No wonder they're struggling.

So who is benefiting from Rummel's loss?
My guess would be St. Paul's and Mandeville high.

It's not just their future that I have in mind, I do not want them hanging out everyday with "undesirables" and girls already pregnant in their teen years.

doubt your sister is truly getting 100k's worth of education comparatively speaking to another school.
It's worth it to keep away from minorities though right?

but I really do believe it has to do with the high tuition.
high tuition for what amounts to as a NOLA public school education leads to low enrollment

Christ Episcopal in Covington has a high school now too. Tuition is $11k/yr.
