Sidenote: Joe Montana seemed to always sit by himself at ULM vs Tulane football games.

Sterling Sharp - compete dickhead. Saw him in a bar in Mobile. Asked if he was sterling sharp. He said "no". I said yes you are. He yelled "then what did you ask for!"

Gary McCord was the nicest guy I have met. Some say he is s jerk, but he was cool to us. Ran into him a second night and he picked up our tab

Met these folks in working capacity, didn't have drinks with them or hang out as if we were best friends but had to spend a considerable amount of time around them.

Nicest:
This one will be hard to believe, but Barry Bonds is an unbelievably nice and gracious guy when he is away from the public eye. The times I was around him he was completely different than he was with the press. Great guy with the kids.

John Walsh. Have met him on about a half dozen occasions. Awesome man. Nothing phony about him.

Kelly Rowland. Looked like she'd be a bitch when she walked in, turned out to be perhaps the sweetest person I've ever been around.

Rudest:

Joe Montana......Just a complete douche every time I saw him.

Hilary Clinton, most demanding, quick temper, acted like everyone around her is vastly inferior.

Chatted with Fred "The Hammer" Williamson (former NFL great and star of ''70s blaxploitation and martial arts movies) at the airport in Washington, D.C. Dude is a straight up badass and a very nice dude. He is in his late 70s and is still in amazing shape. The dude just radiates charisma and is alpha as frick.
Met Penn & Teller after their show in Vegas. After every single show, they hang around afterwards and take pictures and sign autographs until the last person is gone. Super nice guys.

My encounters with Jack Nicklaus were different. I was caddying for a friend at English Turn in 2001 and on Saturday we were paired with him. Chatted with me the entire round and even mooched a couple of Marlboro Lights off of me.

Saw him 11 years later q school in Panama City and he asked me how college golf went and did I ever turn pro. (I was watching a friend at q school)

Dan Aykroyd was really nice. I saw him at Commander's for dinner, and then we were walking around the next morning and saw him walking too. He said "you had on a red dress last night at Commanders. Great dress!" I was floored.

The guy in Almost Famous- the kid, whatever his real name is-saw him in an elevator and he acted like we were all about to jump him. Shifty eyes, sweating, nervous. I figured he was high.

I love how everyone has a complete breakdown on celebrity personalities based on a 7-second glance from 15 feet away (what actually on the few of these that are somewhat true) .. The OT is fast, smart as hell, rich, former 5-star athletes, scratch golfers, hung, married to Miss Tennessee that blows on demand, and regularly rubs elbows with celebrities ..

Dan Aykroyd was nice enough to remember a rando person from the night before, and compliment me. For all I know he pays to kill children in Thailand in his spare time, but in the brief time I kinda sorta spoke to him in passing he seemed like an alright guy.

Was an extra in a movie that co-starred Jon Voight (sat at the same table with him on the set - he introduced himself before we started shooting). They tell you not to even make eye contact with the stars. Later, I was on my way to the bathroom and walked in front of him. He called me by name and asked me to sit in the chair next to him. We talked for about 10 minutes - just me and him.

1. I was shocked that this was actually happening.
2. I was shocked at how utterly nice and accommodating he was.

What a great guy.

Ernie Ladd was also one of the nicest persons I ever met. And that was on more than one occasion.

As a kid I lived in a shotgun duplex. Our landlord was friends with Dan so he stayed over several times. He'd swing with me on the porch and teach me crazy (some bad, in a good way) words out of the dictionary. Super funny and nice guy.
