Vision of the Seas will run 7 day Caribbean itineraries from New Orleans
2400 passengers

This is good for MSY. Just another 1500? seats needed every week. 10 new flights?

Finally a cruise line that isn't trashy in trashy America.

That's great. Even though the OT agrees that cruises are trashy, I like them.

I got shot at twice. My wife and kids didn't make it out of car pool line. Rough day

They need to bring the newer bigger ships to NO, Mobile.

Plot twist: it will be renamed SS Beauregard.

Must be getting old if they are moving it to New Orleans.

The markets in Miami, Tampa, and probably Galveston are higher up on the Gulf Coast food chain as far as that goes.

Im not into the cruise ship scene, but how can Galveston be up the food chain on anything?
Posted on 5/1/17 at 8:41 pm to Honky Lips
Proximity to Mexico if i had to guess.
Posted on 5/1/17 at 8:44 pm to Honky Lips
Way different. Let's just say you see less Family Reunion shirts in Galveston. Partly due to the larger newer ships going out of the Galveston port.

Galveston would be the cruise ship port for the Houston market right? That's a shite load of people.

Google says Miami, Galveston, NOLA and then Tampa. All are in the top 7 nationwide.
