All of this hysteria...all these patients with symptoms and one would think 90% would test positive especially as more tests are done. But 2/3 are NEGATIVE!!

Cases also seem to be slowing. We went from 36 to 77 to 103 to 136 per 24 hours. I thought it was just the weekend and Monday would soar but that’s not the case. I thought we would be doubling the cases per day but we are basically about 25-35 cases a day.

Kind of a duh really. Assholes begging to be tested without symptoms and anyone with a sniffle can con their provider into getting one. I bet there's a part of the population that wants to have it just to justify their self-rightous stupidity.

When you’re generally only testing people that must first meet several positive symptom thresholds first?

We are only testing people with a serious symptoms, when we know damn well most cases aren’t serious. But people who don’t have serious symptoms can pass it onto people who might get them, and we repeatedly choose to ignore that fact.

For reference: UK at 44,000 tests for 1,500-1,600 positive cases (so 3-ish% positive?).

While I can’t go into detail, and really can’t reveal much more, but yesterday compared to today, our cases have increased ninefold. And that’s a fact.

I’m going off of memory so I may not be exactly right. I think 91 was the morning number and 103 the afternoon number but I may not be exactly right but its still about 30 cases each day. I was really expecting it to double every day so I thought we would be pushing 250-300 now. It doubled the first day but has basically maintained the pace of 30ish a day.

It's time to put the denial down. New Orleans is going to be Wuhan by next week.

Think of it this way.... Spend 500.00 on groceries stocking up for the virus long haul, and this shite goes away quickly, then you just get to eat better at home instead of wasting it on eating out for a month or longer. Maybe it becomes a habit. There’s a lot worse things than that.
