I agree Texas is even slower pace and its spread all over the state other than Harris county with 10 but other than a few outliers in Shreveport all of LA’s cases seem to be around New Orleans area parishes.

From what I hear ER’s are packed so maybe there’s cases out there not confirmed yet and its about to explode into every community to maybe the social distancing is already showing a benefit. We’ve been practicing much heavier social hygiene for about 8 days now so maybe its helping.

So will private labs publish their numbers? Is this the way around not showing as many cases that are actually there? The way I was reading this is that there is only 136 cases in the state of Louisiana but maybe the state has stopped giving tests.

In the 30-40 minutes I was in line just at the BR testing site today, probably 40 people were tested. That was in about 30-40 minutes. Just wait, the numbers are about to skyrocket.


Also, I tried to look at others in their cars waiting to be tested and about 1/4 of them were young like me (30s-40s).

Washington state who’s medical system is struggling in Seattle has about an 8% positive rate
But oh yeah only 33 effing percent are positive

Maybe the international festival where millions of people, including international and American tourists, as well as many locals from all over the southern 1/2 the state got hammered and rubbed up against each other
You know the one that was 2 and a 1/2 weeks ago roughly the incubation period of the virus

We are about to get a much larger sample size for local testing over the next 5-7 days
Then we will have a better idea as to how bad Mardi Gras got this thing going down here
Hopefully numbers will be encouraging

Well, since we’ve already had at least 3 deaths in LA die to the virus I think we can throw out the possibility that all of them will have a full recovery.
