Rough cost to refinish wood flooring

Say 900ish sqft, rough cost to I assume sand and revarnish I don't know if 1 or 2 coats would be norm?

Rates vary geographically. I charge $2+ commercial $3+ residential (new construction).

His is Xactimate pricing, it doesn't include furniture moving and cleaning after the refinish and possible replacement of the shoe molding and painting to allow the flooring to be replaced

Just had 3000 sf sanded and polyurethane coated twice for $4000.00

Are you staining it again or just urethane re coat? So if you need the wood sanded it's more if you just need a top coat not so bad but closer to $2 a foot. If you're in NOLA i can recommend someone
