I don’t think it’s super relative because where I am in my life and where my kids will be in life has little to do with skin color and more to do with multiple generations of men who:
stayed out of trouble
graduated high school
pursued higher education
obtained higher education.
married a quality woman
had children at a reasonable age
worked hard to keep a good job
worked hard to discipline children
worked hard to maintain a healthy marriage
taught children respect, hard work, the value of an education, and the value of a dollar.
worked hard to better their career.
stayed out of trouble
graduated high school
pursued higher education
obtained higher education.
married a quality woman
had children at a reasonable age
worked hard to keep a good job
worked hard to discipline children
worked hard to maintain a healthy marriage
taught children respect, hard work, the value of an education, and the value of a dollar.
worked hard to better their career.
