Lotta grey area in there fella. Sure hope you never slip up.

How much intoxication is too much for consent? Should I carry a breathalyzer?

If you girlfriend is into anal and you have gotten consent 100 times, but the 101st time you don’t ask and she didn’t want it that night I would hate for you to be labeled a rapist if she decided to break up with you next week.

Maybe you are a rapist and you don’t even know

Has this made it to trial yet? Has he been charged with rape?

Watch this video on “rape culture”

Louder with Crowder. Prove me Wrong.

This girl from TCU is claiming a huge percentage of college girls have been raped. You believe this? How many people did you hear about getting raped when you were in college? You think all of a sudden rape just became popular?

No. What’s happening is we are severely diluting the definition of rape. Ruining many young people’s lives over normal everyday sexual encounters. In addition, we can’t critcize how irresponsible the girl acts because that’s “victim blaming”

PS- I love how he keeps using me anally penetrating someone by mistake. I can assure him that will never happen.

If you are driving 120mph and someone runs a red light and hits you, technically they are at fault and you are the victim.

But it’s also true that you were driving recklessly.... that’s not victim shaming/blaming

It's not a very good analogy either

I heard plenty the 7 years I answered the rape crisis hotline and severed as a rape crisis counselor.

I heard of many sexual assault stories the 2 years I served on the Men Against Violence executive Board at LSU.

This is nothing new.

You are using the appeal to authority fallacy. None of the above makes you right.

And it’s scary as shite that you actually influence people on this topic.

Just for the record, do you support these cases where two consenting college students have sex (clear consent through text) but then the girl later claims she was raped because she had a few drinks at the time?

What's different about this case is he admitted to it.

What's not different is people taking up for him and putting part of if not all of the blame on her.

just because you don't hear about it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.... like i said, it took me 19 years to tell my parents about what happened to me, and they fricking brought me into this world!

quote:

You think all of a sudden rape just became popular?

nope, but i do think the reporting of rape occurrences has been made less stigmatized, and we are better equipped, as a society, to handle those claims, vs. back in the day...

quote:

What’s happening is we are severely diluting the definition of rape

some people do... tbh, it's kinda what you are doing in this thread... most of us have been pretty consistent on what is actual rape.... you keep bringing up neck kissing and hand holding, somehow trying to equate that into a rape claim, but like i said, most of us have been quite clear on what is "rape", and by her saying no, him saying she said no, and he STILL decided to go through with the sex, yeah, that's rape...

quote:

we can’t critcize how irresponsible the girl acts because that’s “victim blaming”

again, you are TOTALLY caught up in the optics of situation, when you should only be concerned with the fact of the matter... consent.... if given, then she has no claim... if not given, which it CLEARLY wasn't in this case, according to BOTH of the people involved, then she does have a claim.... what is so hard about this for you?

The consent rules Jody Plauche posted are not clear cut. There’s a lot of grey area for relatively harmless people to get in a world of trouble.

I care about my son not being labeled a racist as much as I care about my daughter not actually being raped. It goes both ways.

I support two consenting adults 100%.

As far as having sex with someone who had a few drinks. I would never take that chance.

As a matter of fact it happened 2 weeks ago. If someone is drunk and willing to consent. Let them sleep it of...let them consent the next morning.

And I do not support false accusations. I hate them. It gives people like you something to back your misguided judgement.

You are making consent way more difficult than it really is...its not that confusing. If it is...I would advise not continuing sexual activity.
