There is no evidence yet that McKnight chased Gasser, the authorities actually say otherwise

is wrong as written. The standard to use deadly force is not "if they truly feel their life is threatened."

So yea, you did say something wrong.
quote:

§20. Justifiable homicide A. A homicide is justifiable: (1) When committed in self-defense by one who reasonably believes that he is in imminent danger of losing his life or receiving great bodily harm and that the killing is necessary to save himself from that danger.
so for the sake of an online discussion what i said reflects the word of the law.

No, it doesn't.

You can't read, apparently. Read that statute a few times.

So one more time. Link to McKnight aggressively moving toward Gasser's car.

the pictures from the crime scene suggest that Gasser was at the stop light first then Mcknight pulled up on the side of him and blocked him him....therefor that tells me Mcknight was behind Gasser

and how does one person chase another person...one person has to be in front and the other has to be behind that person.

quote:

Chase

verb
gerund or present participle: chasing
1.
pursue in order to catch or catch up with.
"police chased the stolen car through the city"
synonyms: pursue, run after, give chase to, follow; More

which is the same thing i said.

You said if you "truly believe". Not exactly the same thing. Just because you believe something doesn't make it reasonable.

He said it as fact in his first post in this thread. I asked for him to back it up because I didn't remember details, and I've been met with nothing but laughter by you and him. Not really sure why.

Here, I'll help you:

quote:

Notice the following words:

REASONABLY BELIEVES

IMMINENT DANGER

NECESSARY

I don't have to do anything. I didn't claim something as fact.

That means doesn't prove McKnight aggressively approached Gasser's car.

truly = honestly = reasonably you can look it up in a thesaurus. its funny you want to pick apart these words rather then what really happened between gasser and McKnight.

We're not in court. However, you presented it as fact. Back it up, or just admit that it was your assumption.

No, because it's completely irrelevant.
