My 14 yo daughter and I will be visiting Rome and the Vatican in a couple months. I want to tour the catacombs but I found out you must be 15 years old to do the tour.

Well, according to the Catholic belief, life begins at conception, so my daughter should be considered 15 years old at the time of our visit.

They won't let her do the tour.

Wut.

Please show your math on this one, because it seems like quite a stretch in logic.

The point at which a life begins and a BIRTH date are two completely different things.

My daughter turns 15 in December, which means she was conceived in March.

You could just lie and say she's 15......I mean, I doubt they require photo ID, especially when most 15 year olds (at least from US) will not even have an ID. You'll almost certainly go straight to hell for lying at the Vatican, but it's probably all make believe anyway.

Why not just lie about her age?

Is The Church denying your daughter exists or denying her a tour of their private property?

I don’t think you know what “hypocrisy” means.

I had to show a passport to enter Vatican City.

The Swiss Guard while looking kinda silly are not to be taken lightly.

She needs a passport to go over there, so I'm guessing every single 15 year old kid from the US will have an ID.

As far as people saying to just lie about it, the website says 15 years old, STRICTLY enforced.
