. You could raise the existing toll on the Causeway another couple of dollars to offset the revenue it would lose to the new bridge.

People like you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I was just saying the same thing. Cooper's video was knocking it out of the park and the council is tearing everything up. It's Marisa Tomei saying "you frickin this case up or what?"

Katrina transplants when they get their pitchforks out for overdevelopment and traffic as if they are not the direct cause of the problem.
they aren’t the cause of the problem the builders and city officials that allowed the building to go stupid is to blame

Adding amendments that will negate the ordinance in general…

This isn’t passing tonight…

You say this like people don't want to leave the city still. The house will be built in surrounding parishes it will actually help them grow now will it crush the infrastructure?
Better yet make any new house 400k and 50 lot subdivisions on at least a .5 acre. No dsdl or Townsend shite tract homes are trash dove park looks like dog shite and its not even done yet. I amazes me people want leave the city to live on top of each other

They need to point them in a direction that’s not over saturated while fixing the current problems instead of letting it be exacerbated by more home building
Keep your shite relegated to the shore of Lake Ponchy - the majority of us in the northern part of the Parish want zero to do with the strip mall and chain restaurant crowd that have taken over the I-12/190 strip.

I'm for growth and development typically but it simply gotten out of control and needs to be reigned in because we are just now beginning to see the negative effects of it and it's already bad. It's only going to get worse. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.
Same thing happening currently in Bossier north of I-220. Going to need a helicopter to get in and out within 18 months.

All the government baws see is an increase in tax rev with the tax base growth, and a reason to say "we're the fastest growning parish in N. La!!!!". Meanwhile all the other branches of local gov from dog catcher to sheriff to fire grow to gobble up their respective fair share of the increased tax rev.
