I wonder if it would be possible to take over the Controls remotely and land it from the ground. Fed Ex planes supposedly have the capability to take off and land on autopilot and only have crews because of FAA regulations.

Saying a mechanic took the plane up. Sounds like another PNW whacko that wanted to go out in style.
Most people wouldn't be able to fly a Q400. Meaning, they wouldn't understand how to take off. It's more complicated that a jet.

There is a clip on Instagram of the plane flying low and attempting to do a roll. It was shortly followed by a fighter jet.

I'm in tacoma and was watching a movie with my wife and we heard loud jet noise. I commented to my wife that it was unusual for the fighters from JBLM to fly right over us. That's what I get for logging off tiger droppings.

Highly doubt that. Saw video of crash site. Fiery and large mushroom cloud. The last video before crash showed him hauling arse.
