Ha... Just clicked on Fox news.com and the headline image is a guy celebrating the repeal of Roe with what appears to be Menage a trois champagne

stare decisis

Is bullshite.

If we always followed stare decisis, slavery would still be legal in this country. Roe was shite legal decision making purely done for political reasons. Even RBG knew Roe was bullshite.

Interesting how you and others completely ignore the correct and legal way to make abortion a constitutional right.

Reasonable and rational people understand this. People driven purely by their emotions are the only ones freaking the frick out.

Progressives don't try and argue positions anymore, they just claim superiority based on emotional appeals.

We saw it yesterday, as esteemed con law professors responded to the Bruen decision with stuff like "wow, SCOTUS really did not read the room." These are the elites in the field, and their pitch is about how backwards it is that SCOTUS didn't find a way to reach the preferred emotionally-driven result.

So you are claiming LA has zero exceptions?

Correct. Signed into law 6/21 by your governor, the trigger law in LA officially banned all abortions, to include rape and incest. The only exception is in a medical emergency.

Congrats!

No it isn't. I have seen both the aftermath of a teen getting an abortion and one having the baby. The one who had the baby is married, a successful nurse with two other children. The baby she had as a teen is now a full time student at Tulane on a full scholarship and on her way to becoming a dr. The one who had the abortion fell off the deep end. Mentally was NEVER the same. This was a girl who was fun to hang out with and she became a shell. I realize that this is only two examples out of many but I have a feeling that the ones that have abortions tend to be like the girl I was friends with in high school.

Totally the same thing as intentionally destroying a life.

I perform euthanasias every week. I eat meat. I kill bugs. I have killed many plants. Quite a few posters in this thread have served in the military and likely killed other humans either directly or indirectly. If you are alive now, you have destroyed some life somewhere.

The ineptness of the Dobbs talking points tells you all you need to know about the absence of legal argument available.

The complete meltdown over states being able to decide for themselves tells you everything you need to know about the mindset of American progressivism.

Yeah, we've never overturned precedent before. That's why Dred Scott is still in effect and blacks still aren't citizens

Cool, now do Dred Scott v. Sandford or Plessy v. Ferguson

if that's what the people's representatives want, then who are you to deny them?

literally the whole point of the Court decision.

You just posted a screen grab of 13 states to ban abortion, but I counted at least 15 likely to keep it. And those 15 have so many more people living in those places.

What's the point? 13 out of 50? How will we ever survive as humans?

Nope. In Louisiana a minor needs to have the consent of one parent for an abortion anyway. So the responsibility, no matter what, falls on the parent(s)

None of those are the same either. Thanks for the reminder that doctors are stupid about a lot of things.

Sounds good to me

Do you know what percentage of abortions are due to rape or incest?

Hint: its similar to the death rate from covid
