Great! Finally, after tonight, New Orleans will be 100% crime-free! Glory be to Mitch Landreau for discovering the real causes of social strife in New Orleans and having them destroyed!

Mitch doesn't care, he's a lame duck Mayor who has the power an no one to stop him.

He's not done with these 3.

I honestly believed that this one would never come down. I just didn't think the insanity ran that deep. Obviously, I was wrong. Landrieu's pandering bitch arse knows no bounds.

Honest question, why would Lee be more emotional than Beauregard? The latter was a chalmation who spent a good part of his life improving NOLA. Seems like he would be the hometown favorite.

I eat in New Orleans 7 or 8 times a week, and go have drinks once a week. That's just the money I consistently spend every week. Not happening anymore. Sucks, but I'm not supporting what's going on

I wish there were OSHA inspectors in the New Orleans area who had the balls to shut down these half assed masked demo crews.

I'm sure NOPD will shut down the bar. They have set pretty big perimeters in the past.

Can you imagine booze being thrown into the equation?

There's plenty of flammable gas across the street too.

because not many people know anything about actual history here, and Lee is the biggest in the most prominent location

The absolute insanity is that people still revere leaders of a failed rebellion that was fought to protect the inhuman bondage of other people.

Well the good news is crime will stop and education will rise!!!!! This city has been in a death spiral since the mid 60's.

One half of my family has been there since the 50s, and is still there. Mandeville is too crowded and generic for me now. Will be looking elsewhere.

If I have to live close to New Orleans and raise a family, it will be in Old Metairie

Just move to Livingston Parish. You wont have to worry about any Confederate monuments coming down there.

if they do, and I were the Circle bar or even the hotel bar (whatever it's called now) --- I'd sue.

you can't just shut me down when you offer me a perfectly good opportunity for revenue!

I am shite, the city has to pay for this fiasco somehow --- why not a little liquor sales tax

On what grounds?

They can't just unilaterally shut down a business on private property for no reason.
