Somebody is going to make money, not with the Reiner's faces, but with generic masks with slit throats. And that's sad.

Comparing someone who was assassinated for being conservative and deaths in a domestic issue is odd to me.

it’s not the same, but don’t let that interrupt your edge lord routine for attention.

it's tragic that they were murdered in their own home by their son, it's tragic that our society has sunk so low that the immediate reaction is to politicize it and imply that they deserved it, this place has a large representation of the sentiments of a really crass, jaded, and hateful society

This and the whole....

I didn't agree with his politics, but....

Or bad president good man when Carter died.

That comes off as ignorant and not much better than the people who openly cheer for the deaths.

Not even close to the same but keep trying to make what the left did after Charlie was assassinated because of his political views the same as being indifferent to someone dying but still expressing some sympathy.

Ahh, got it. So as long as someone is killed for non political purposes it’s kosher to be happy they died

Yea I'm pretty indifferent. I won't celebrate but I won't lose sleep over him. I stand by that.

My quote above was about people who do express sympathy. Read it again before attempting your gotcha

Yeh, you responded to someone praying he wasn’t actually dead by saying you don’t care if he is because he is a POS.

Both are stupid and petty.

If you can't see that then you are fricking retarded. If your first thought about someone or some tragedy is 'what side were they on' then you are pathetic.

Kirk was assassinated over political views.

Keep trying to compare the two

People celebrating and mocking Kirk being shot is vastly different and you know it

Keep trying

So once again, why someone was brutally murdered matters for how people show their arse about it?

Someone prayed he was still alive, and your response was “I don’t care” and you followed it up saying you don’t care if he is dead because he was a POS

And your argument is that isn’t bad or a shelled thing since he wasn’t murdered for political reasons. We got it

I don't care if he's no longer here. I do think no one should be murdered but my life won't be better or worse with Reiner gone so I don't care. I acknowledge it is tragic, though.

I think he was a POS. Still not using that opinion to say he deserved to be murdered.

Huge difference, retard.

Are you stupid? It's not the same at all.

Jimmy Carter was a ridiculously shitty president, but by all other accounts a great man and humanitarian. What you're doing is taking that away from him by saying I'm insincere with that statement.

It's possible to separate the politician from the person, even if they're connected.

Rob Reiner was a great entertainer, great producer and director, etc. that got swept up in the political hate that has taken control of toys country. Before all of that, by all appearances, he seemed like a good guy.

I can say that I'm sorry he's gone, and that his manner of death was awful and shouldn't happen to people.

I can also say that he was completely eaten up by hatred in his political beliefs.

All of these things can be, and are, true.

Wake me when the tiktok celebrations of hundreds of people start. Or when the shirts with blood on them get made. Or when teachers tell whole classes Rob deserved it.

A few will say some bad shite but overall it won't be close to the same reaction.

Keep trying

Heartbreaking news to wake up to. People are going to say what they will. He was definitely a polarizing guy. But at a human level, I’m sure we all know someone with a troubled kid. I’ve definitely feared for some couples’ safety before because of things their kids got into. Drugs make people unhinged. Sad that it came to this for this family.
