As a 17 year old, illegal.

It's a misdemeanor in Wisconsin. I'm sure he would happily plead guilty to the charge.

It has no bearing on anything that happened, nor does the "OMG he crossed state lines"

One primary problem is that he went out on the street with a loaded AR to make some undefined political stand by making a show that he could kill people. That created a charged situation which led to the two shootings.

You are apparently uninformed. Watch the interview videos. The kid was an EMT. He was there to provide medical care to the protesters. He actually says it. He said the AR was for his protection only.

quote:

Ask yourself this. If he had not taken the AR out, would any confrontation have occurred? Of course not. Also consider that he had the look and presentation of a mass shooter. If you are in mass and Rittenhouse walked in looking exactly as he did that night, what would you reasonably assume? Probably that he is there to kill people. You may try to subdue or disarm him to save others.

If you watch the video where he was interviewed he steps away because someone asks for his medical care. I believe this may have been done to get him away from the others and off by himself. This may have been the setup for an "ambush". He allegedly passed through the "lines" to go offer aid and the cops wouldn't let him back across. He was stuck there by himself.

quote:

Therein lies the problem. While Rittenhouse may or may not have intended to kill people, he created a situation of intense danger by what he did.

Wrong again. He didn't "create" a situation. In the first video where he shoots the guy in the head, he is being chased by a larger foe and hears a gunshot. Please tell me how he created that situation?

By your logic, no unarmed person with different political views would EVER be attacked because they didn't have the tools that created the situation. Is that what you are saying?

quote:

Now, after he has shot one person in the head, isn't it even more reasonable for the crowd to believe that he is there to mass murder? At that point, wouldn't it be an act of duty to try to subdue him?

Consider other "mass shooting events". In most cases the cops won't even try to subdue a active shooter. So you are saying that the rioters/protesters believed in justice so much they would risk life and limb to disarm the shooter? Not likely, they were going to kill that kid.

quote:

No one would be dead and no one would have tried to subdue him if he hadn't gone out at night to present himself as a killer.

I'm pretty sure no one would be dead if they hadn't shot at him / chased him / assaulted him 4 different times and pointed a gun at him.
quote:

Rittenhouse is not a hero. He has his own criminal record. The right wing lunatics are declaring him a hero for shooting people who may have had different political views. That is sick.

Where do you see that he had a criminal record? Other than the current arrests I'm not aware of one.

He may have had different political views BUT he stated that he supported the protesters. That's what Americans do. I don't like a lot of things folks say. They even make me mad but I'll defend your right to say them all day long.

Could you say the same about the protesters?

I've been asking this for quite some time. Yet no one seems to have any proof for their claims.

In fact, due to his desire to become a police office (which a record would have prevented) I find this unlikely.

No. The "crossed state lines" drum that the left is beating for some odd reason is completely irrelevant.

They want to make it sound like he drove 12 hours, loaded for bear, and was just looking for trouble. Truth is, it was about 20 minutes away, it's all sparse, rural, farmland in that area, and Kenosha is probably the closest "big city" to where he lives. Probably goes there all the time for shopping, dining out, entertainment, etc. The "crossing state lines" narrative is such a red herring.

So we’re going to play the what if game huh?

What if there was never a mass of people in the first place?

The bottom line is what he was doing was LEGAL, what the mass of people was doing was both Legal(protesting) and Illegal(burning/destroying shite)

See how the what if game works?

What if rittenhouse dad never banged his mom?

Sounds like it would be reasonable for me to buttfrick you because I think you look like a fgt

Since we’re just going off subjective appearances, presentation and perception.

How exactly was he being a vigilante? Be specific, because that term has a very specific meaning.
