The controversial Wall Street "Fearless Girl" statue — a corporate publicity stunt that turned into a feminist icon
Amazing how people don't get this. It isn't a feminist statement. It's a communist statement. It stands for the proposition that women must stand up to capitalism.

Fearless girl was a lazy piece of corporate propaganda that infringes on the intellectual property of the artist of the bull.

That bull looks an awful lot like a golden calf.

The disgusting part about all this is that is if was just about the artistry of the set piece, with as much acclaim is posited, it would be easy to make a replica of the bull, or maybe a full replacement designed to accommodate the intent better.
The fact that they are acting like uprooting a 30+ year old American icon like this is the ONLY option makes it clear that the article’s suggestion is 100% true:
It was always only about symbolizing taking on the Top 1% greedy white man.

Shel311 thinks it funny that I said this country is heading into a civil war between stupidity and common sense.
I am serious. This stupid shite is out of hand and it’s only a matter of time before normal thinking people say it’s enough.

A tiny puny girl full of hubris and misplaced overconfidence in her real world abilities thinking she can stand up to a raging animal 10 times her size
A perfect analogy for feminism

Ding ding ding ding,.....,, that’s exactly what that bull represents. Money is the god of this country and Manhattan is the modern day Babylon.

Charging Bull has been there since 1989, why move it? The Fearless Girl statue has become part of it, why move it either? I don’t get why either one should go.
