Coach elevated the state of baseball at LSU, in the state of Louisiana, and in the SEC.
He revitalized the Louisiana Baseball Coaches' Association.

Man this sucks. R.I.P. to a legend.
I will always appreciate him asking Rick Jones if he could address the Tulane players after the super regional to give them congratulations and what to expect in Omaha.
Some Tulane fans were mad at this because 'iTs OUr rIVaL' but I thought it was a class act by him.

RIP Skip, you were the MAN!!! Not only did you have LSU Baseball at the pinnacle of the mountain but you turned LSU Football into a National Power forever!
