RIP. Was up at the top of my list of classic actors. As a kid playing baseball, The Natural was a favorite movie. Jermiah Johnson, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are all just classics

My favorite Robert Redford movie is one he directed, Ordinary People

Won Oscar’s for: best picture, best director, best adapted screenplay, best supporting actor

The Sting

My dad loved that movie. I need to rewatch it as I don’t remember much and didn’t understand story since I was a kid when it was released.

It’s his number 1 rated movie on IMDB.

He has 22 movies on IMDB with a rating of 7.0 or higher - which is far above average for that rating system.

Shout out to Sneakers!

Side note, it always comes as a surprise when someone like him or Hackman pass away. You forget how old they actually are because their vast filmography is still played all the time. Two undisputed greats.
