I was at his concert about a week ago. Very lucky to have gotten to see him in person. RIP Ozzman TYFYS

Wonder if it wasn’t assisted suicide. I seem to recall (but can’t find now) an interview with Sharon where she hinted that he’d considered it.

If Ozzy can die, then so can all of us.

Damn man, I thought my youth director from the 1980's was dead & buried. Looks like your old arse is still alive and kicking.

There's a lot of retarded boomer takes in this thread but that's to be expected on the OT. Ozzy is one of most important names in the history of rock. His influence can't be understated. Absolute legend.

I saw him back in the early '80's in Tad Gormley stadium for an outdoor kind of Day of Rock with LeRoux, Loverboy and Foreigner. Right before the show Ozzy decided to shave all of his hair off. In the process he cut his head up pretty good so when he walked out after the intro he was bleeding in places on his head. It was a total surprise since everyone was expecting long haired Ozzy.

At one point a hippie looking dude jumped on the retaining wall in front of the stage and was swinging a mannequin head around until security yanked him out of there. This was just after the bat head and pigeon head biting events.

The Osbournes was one of the first if not the first reality tv shows. I enjoyed seeing him in "day to day" life even if it was staged. I thought it was funny that Pat Boone was his neighbor

Phil Collins was a fanatic about the Alamo, at one point having the largest personal collection of Alamo relics in the world. MTV should have had a televised cage match between him and Ozzy in the 80’s.

Holy shite, wasn't he just doing his last show? "Mama I'm coming home" was his last song too. I wonder if he knew.
