Reminder Jimmy Swaggart is the best piano player in the family

I’ve heard that said but it’s sure hard to believe he is “better” than Jerry Lee. He’s definitely very talented but Jerry Lee made the piano do things that no one else ever did.

It's been a long time since I've seen a kamikazee pigeon on the front of a ten gallon hat.

Wonder what even happened to his stable of mechanical bulls?

He did a great thing for se Houston.

. Amazing how many talented people came out out of that family.

Makes you wonder if any of them would be as good if they had not grown up around each other, learned and competed against each other.

That movie sold a ton of hats and boots. And mechanical bulls. And mezcal with the worm.

And pickup trucks

Now, you tell me that this world would be the same if this ol' baw had worn a t-shirt and baseball cap?

If I could rate'em on a scale from 1 to 10
I'm lookin' for a 9 but 8 would slip right in
A few more drinks and I might slip to a 5 or even a 4
But when tomorrow morning comes,
And I wake up with a number 1
I swear I'll never do it anymore.

He hit it at the right time when being a cowboy was the in thing.

In its day Gilley’s had some serious good looking women in that place.

Uncle, worked on the music system in Gilleys. They had one of the best systems in the country at one time.
He got me in a few times and introduced me to a few people.

Only Texas could pull off a serious Baw place like that.

He was a true honky tonk singer.
Honky Tonk Wine
Headache tommorrow but heartache tonight

I hope he RIP as he went from a kid in Natchez to owning one of the most famous night clubs in the country.

Jimmy Swaggart has sold millions of gospel records and to me is the best of the three. Probably because I love gospel music, but if you think how many record’s Jerry Lee sold its millions. Now throw in Mickey Gilley records and Wow!! Not bad for three cousins from FERRIDAY LOUISIANA.

Pam would have eventually gotten bored with him and left him.

I still say the play would have been to get into something long term with Jeri Hall and have her girlfriend come over as much as possible.

All around crazy, Sissy.
Woman who will get you a beer, Sissy.
After a few years of marriage woman who will call the cops on you after she tries to fight you. Sissy.
