What about the 600+ songs I've downloaded on my galaxy for free?

You will still be able to purchase songs. Apple is splitting iTunes into 3 apps, Music, Videos, and Podcasts.

Nothing is going to change in the way it all works, just finally, and I mean finally, that bloated POS iTunes app can be put to rest.

all streaming now..

I've always hated iTunes anyway.
But it has to be installed to use iFunBox which is superior.

Wait they are getting rid of the platform or just purchasing music? iTunes is solid as a music library

why Wouldn’t you want to back up to the cloud anyway? It’s so much easier.

I saw this last week on twitter. A lot of people were asking if all the music they bought would just go away and Apple sent out a tweet saying they would not.

They are still going to stream music, but I guess they are rebranding and changing how it will be done.

ESPN is doing away with the ESPNWatch. It will no longer be available after June 30th. You will just be able to use the ESPN app to stream.

I just acquire my music for free off of youtube, like a normal person.

Or switch to Spodify for $10 a month and get even more (they have music itunes doesn't have). And I think you get the first 3 months for the price of one month when you sign up.

No they should still be in a "Music" folder on your PC, assuming you used a PC to buy the songs.

It's 99 cents a month for 50GB.

If you can't afford $12 a year, you shouldn't be posting on the OT.

And if people want to cry about it, you can get 5gb for free and that’s plenty to backup your important information.

I know people who are losing their shite over this. It’s literally integrated into the regular espn app. It’s actually better.

It’s the damn principle of the matter. I don’t want to store things on the cloud, which in reality is just a server/storage device somewhere far away from me that I need access to the internet to use. I’d rather store them and back them up myself and only I have access to them.
